This protocol compiles the recommended usage guidelines for the MEGATOP™ line designed for sporting, working, and high-performance dogs. It has been developed as a reference guide to support the correct administration of each product according to the dog´s activity level, training phase, and individual needs.
The guidelines included are intended to adapt to different situations such as training, competition, and maintenance, always taking into account the dog’s physical condition, diet, and overall well-being.
Although this document is intended for practical and structured use, it does not replace professional veterinary judgement. It is recommended to follow the instructions provided for each product and adjust its use according to the animal’s progress and condition in order to achieve the best results.
- Intense training–competition: 1 ml / 5 kg*
- Light training: 0.5 ml / 5 kg*
- Maintenance: 0.25 ml / 5 kg
- Extra nutritional support: 1 ml / 5 kg
* May be administered before and during the event and continued as needed. Adjust use according to diet and the animal’s health status. Administer mixed with food or using an oral syringe. It is recommended to give the product when the animal is calm, preferably after feeding or together with food.
Once the season has ended, discontinue MEGATOP™ RC until one month before training resumes.
- Intense training–competition: 1 chew / 15 kg*
- Light training or maintenance: ½ chew / 15 kg*
- Extra nutritional support: 1 chew / 15 kg
* May be administered before and during the event and extended as needed. Adjust use according to diet and the animal’s health status. It is recommended to give the product when the animal is, preferably after feeding or together with food.
Once the season has ended, discontinue MEGATOP™ RC until one month before training resumes.
- The night before the event: 3.5 ml / dog.
- For maximum support, the same dose may be repeated 2 hours before the event.
*On days when MEGATOP™ Event is administered, MEGATOP™ RC should not be given.
- Initial phase (7 days): 5 ml / 5 kg.
(divided into 2 doses)
- Maintenance (1–3 months): 2 ml / 5 kg.
- Maintenance (from month 4): 1 ml / 5 kg.
* It is recommended to start MEGATOP™ PowerFlex during the rest period due to the higher amount required during the first week of use, or as early as possible if this is not feasible.
Administer mixed with food or using an oral syringe.
The effects of MEGATOP™ PowerFlex begin to appear after 3–4 weeks of use.
